Emma Wright Hoeye Memorial Scholarship

Mabel E. Hoeye, a long time and very faithful member of Highland Park Christian Church, established this scholarship fund in memory of her mother, Emma Wright Hoeye. Grants are determined by the Scholarship Committee with consideration being given to the needs of the applicants. An applicant must have been a member of Highland Park Christian Church for not less than three years prior to the application deadline.

Scholarship applications may be picked up at the church office and the completed applications are to be mailed to the church and postmarked no later than March 1st of current year .

Please note that applications are only made available for upcoming year each January, until the deadline (March 1st).

Alice Conner Memorial Scholarship

Alice Conner was a resident of Des Moines, Iowa, a graduate of Drake University and an elementary teacher for over forty years. She passed away in 1989. Miss Conner was committed to assisting young men and women continue or obtain their education after the completion of high school. It was at her request that this scholarship fund be established.

To receive an application you must write to request it. Please contact the church office for the mailing address. Do not send requests for applications to the church.

Applicants must be a resident of the state of Iowa and attend a college, university, trade school or other institution of higher learning within the state of Iowa.

Completed applications must be mailed to the address listed above and postmarked no later than March 1st of the current year.
